What is DragOnce?

DragOnce is a cloud service that provides communication, data, and business process management in one portal. Traditional small and medium businesses can implement it without costly servers or a complex infrastructure OR enterprises can choose the on-premise service to fulfill their compliance. Users are not required to have expertise in IT knowledge in order to master DragOnce platform.

Apps, Messenger and Circulars are the 3 major services DragOnce platform provides. 

• Apps, created by simple drag and drop, can digitize and streamline a company’s business processes. 

• Messenger provides a one-stop channel for employees to discuss, vote and share media. 

• Circulars are designed and distributed virtually to avoid heavy paper work. All DragOnce services are well-integrated with DragOnce Mobile App to make usages as convenient as possible.

Basic Concept

Before embarking on your no-code adventure with DragOnce, it is essential to grasp some fundamental concepts that the platform employs.

Subscriber

DragOnce services are provided on a subscription basis. You can consider a subscriber as a company, who subscribes to DragOnce cloud service and creates user accounts for their employees to use. Each subscriber has separate data records, users and subscriber settings. A person can use one email address to login with different subscriber accounts of different companies/organizations, representing a different user type.

Design Time and Run Time 

On DragOnce platform, user actions are either performed in Design Time or Run Time. 

Design Time is the back-end interface for application design and management purposes. 

Run Time is the interface facing end users for real operation.

Environments

An environment is a mode on DragOnce platform that serves a particular purpose. We have 3 types of environments on DragOnce.

• Developing: For designing applications

• UAT: For testing purposes

• Production: For running application

They are separated so that designing, UAT and running applications can be done separately without affecting one another’s functions and data.

Application

App development is the core service that DragOnce provides. Created by simple drag and drop without coding, Apps can digitize and streamline a company’s business processes. Tailored to meet the specific requirements of subscribers, each app comprises pages and workflows that allow for highly personalized customization. Apps can be used to develop various IT systems, such as HR Systems, Inventory Management Systems, Project Management Systems, providing easy and efficient management capabilities.
